Helloooo and Welcome to THE WONDER YEARS!

I am Pia – your truly happy host. I’m a simple, ordinary daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother. I was born and raised in South India. Currently, I live in United Kingdom with my husband and a little daughter. I am a caring, nurturing, funloving and friendly person and easy to get along with. My hobbies include cooking, organizing, housekeeping and blog reading.

Preeth is my husband. An extremely patient, mature and sensible Paediatrician who is very passionate about his profession. An awesome husband and a complete hands on dad. But he can never remember birthdays and anniversaries. What else can explain him giving me a pack of green apples as gift for our first wedding anniversary? Although why he returned from the supermarket that day with only a pack of green apples, I can’t rightly answer.

Bambi is our precious little girl who was born in 2011. She is a happy child with a big personality and a complete people’s person. She is most happy when there are a room full of people chattering. She is a handful but very cute and lovable. She loves speaking over the telephone and pretends various different objects in the house to be telephone. Going by her love for telephone, the current prediction for her future is that she is going to be a telephone operator!

THE WONDER YEARS is my little corner on the World Wide Web that contains glimpses of our journey of life – a journey through the challenges of parenting, a journey filled with highs, lows & in betweens, a journey of self-discovery and growth. It is a record of the big, small and the little things that happen in our lives on a daily basis. My hope is that someday I can look back at these pages with my family and cherish all those fleeting moments of our lives together…….those WONDER YEARS!
